Introducing our new tour at an amazing price.  All the best 3 experiences: Inthanon + Kew Mae Pan Heaven Trail + Elephant Sanctuary (5 stars on TripAdvisor).  Click here for details.

Description:

On this tour you can cool off on Thailand's highest peak while taking in the beautiful scenic Doi Inthanon National Park. Night time temperatures on the peak can be as low as -8 degrees centigrade.  In the cold/dry season night time frosts are common.  Day time temperatures can be surprisingly cold so do not forget a long sleeve jumper. On the way up we will visit Wachiritharn  Waterfalls, The King and Queen Chedi's, (the best views across the park are found here), and then on to the peak of Doi Inthanon the highest mountain in Thailand. Near the top we will take the Angkha nature walk where you can walk amongst the unique flora and forest that grow at this altitude. There are both Karen and Hmong villages in the bounds of Doi Inthanon and we will see those at the local market on the way down the mountain before making our way back to Chiang Mai.

The tour was good but the time we had to explore was too short when we got to the mountain, there was a trail and we couldn’t see around, and the guide seemed to run fast and not much in a mood to wait for, it seems they was impatient, although they seem nice. The tour was great but maybe take a little bit more time at the top of the mountain.

Not a tour person but I must say this tour was wonderful. I highly recommend booking this tour to get a feel about the area and the things to see and use that experience to go another time on your own to fully explore. Very nice and kind tour guide. This tour was special to me. The weather was not in our favor with fog, mist, rain and very poor visability even by the pagodas but it was an amazing experience, different. Book this tour before exploring on your own :)

Overall, it was a fun tour. I wish I could have have heard even more insight from the guide, but she was already explaining things in multiple languages and answering questions knowledgeably, so I can’t expect much more. Tour was timely, lunch was tasty, and despite the fog blocking the viewpoint it was still an interesting trip.

The tour guide was AMAZING. Miss Apple was friendly, funny, and super sweet. She got everyone to explain themselves, she was making jokes, her English is great. She was a pleasure to spend the day with and her awesome ways made the tour better. Lunch was yummy. The waterfalls were really pretty and so were the pagodas
