About the places

Ban Bor Thor is an area about a 40-50 minute minibus ride north of Krabi and Ao Nang. The area is a National Park in which there is a complex system of rivers, inlets and limestone caves. This area is one of the earliest sites of human occupation in Thailand and is rich in archaeological treasures, artifacts and cave drawings. Many of these caves are only accessible by Kayak.

Phi Hua To Cave is only 500 meters from Lot Cave. Being in the area of Phi Hua To Mountain, this double-path cave offers a boat-only access due to its mangrove forests surroundings. Inside the cave, there are two pathways that usually bring the visitors different experiences. The left is a shortcut that leads visitors to the back of the cave where sunlight penetrates in while the right trail directs to a natural chamber, a supposed-shelter of prehistoric men. Paintings of men, animals, human organs and seashells on the cave walls can be dated back to prehistoric time. Human skulls were also found here as its literal name ‘Phi Hua To’ or ‘big-headed ghosts’ in Thai.

Schedule

08.30 - 09.00	Pic you up form your hotel in Ao Nang area. For those customer who stay in Krabi city, pick up time is 08.10 - 08.30.
09.00	Travel to Ban Bor Thor, it will takes around 50 minutes
10.00	We will surve the mangrove forest before we start the Kayaking.  Our tour guide will show you how to control Kayak and also give you breif information about the trip. After that we will start the Kayaking activity which you will do kayaking through the mangrove forest which you will be in touch with brackish water ecology system.  You will also kayak through Tham Lod Cave to see beautiful hanging rocks. Then we will continue our tirp to Phi Hua To Cave which used to be a resident of pre historic people. You can see the 3,000 years old painting on the cave wall.
13.00	Have lunch together.
13.40	Go to Phu Thara, you can relax in fresh water stream
14.30	Travel back to your hotel.
15.40	Arrived your hotel
